Program Values

Our Vision

To teach motivate and inspire our youth both boys and girls to build what we call “an empire state of mind” to reach peak performance on and off the court

Our Mission

Our mission is to create an environment focused on the learning process of basketball that enable young women and young mean to handle adversity through uncomfortable training. Our mission is to teach kids to bring spirit, communication, hustle, attitude, precision and enhance themselves and others to become confident on and off the court. The mission is to control all the things you can control.

Our Objectives

  1. Our top priorities when it comes to basketball is player development and developing player I.Q.  This is in the basketball world and in life.  Our purpose as a club is to build fundamentally sound players that in turn lead to more confident people on and off the court.  “We are not a program focusing on playing tournament games every weekend.”

  2. Our method of training involves teaching the building blocks that create the foundation of a player’s game that include footwork, ball handling and shooting. Our teaching methods fits all player level as our approach is narrowed in on the simple process and approach players need to instinctively play the game.  We teach skills that will help kids be free and have a free-flowing approach to the game.  Every day we focus on these skills and then incorporate game like situations so players are prepared for games when that time comes.

  3. We are a program that teaches man to man principles on both sides of the ball and will not teach zone until middle school which is the 7th or 8th grade.  The process we take develops one on one skills that lead to two on two, three on three until we are ready to move all the way up to 5 on 5 basketball.  We challenge our players every day to do things that are uncomfortable and do drills that may seem advanced yet many are still capable.  We teach skills youth players are capable of, not skills that high level pro players are masters at.  We truly focus on preparing players for what they will truly see as players so when the time comes they can perform the skills naturally in a game.

  4. Our goal is to help kids learn to love the game.  With that love, our players are more willing to put more time in on their own to prepare themselves to play at the high school level or beyond when they leave our program.
